Cacao is known as the Food of Love and has been a respected plant and medicine in Central America for centuries. Pure whole-bean cacao has been used traditionally in Ceremony & ritual within Mayan and Aztec cultures for thousands of years. The term 'Ceremonial' Cacao refers to not only the quality of the Cacao, but the rich and sacred history of this heart-opening Medicine.
Wild Craft Ceremonial Cacao is consciously handcrafted in small batches from 100% organic Peruvian cacao beans. The cacao beans are ethically sourced from a co-op of small scale indigenous growers in the Amazon region of Tarapoto, in the San Martin province of northern Peru.
The heirloom Theobroma Cacao trees grow bio-dynamically within their native environment. The Cacao Pods are traditionally and sustainably harvested, before the beans are fermented and sun-dried. The premium-quality Cacao beans are then stone ground by us in small batches, in our Solar-powered Cacao Studio in Southern Tasmania, Australia! The crafting process is slow & intentional, to bring you a Ceremonial Cacao that is medicinally potent, fresh and delicious.
